Cleaning checklist - Schönhaus Berlin

Please complete all tasks and upload photos of the cleaned apartment. You'll also find a field at the end for comments and problems. Thank you!

General
  • Ventilate the apartment
    Open all windows
  • Check if guests left anything behind
    Please check inside all drawers!
  • Dispose of trash and put new bag in bin
  • Clean light switches, door handles and grips
  • Vacuum clean
  • Check and vacuum baseboards
  • Mop the floor
  • Remove cobwebs
    On ceiling, lamp cords, and walls.
Bedroom
  • Vacuum sofa, chairs and mattress
  • Change bed linen
    Sheet, pillowcase, duvet cover.
  • Make the bed

  • Check curtains for cleanliness
  • Plug in all bedside lamps
    Please plug them into the socket.
  • Green & Red Rooms: Store linens
    Put pillows, duvet, and sheets in the closet (check if still fresh).
Living Area
  • Vacuuming the sofa
  • Clean mirror
  • Check windows and entrance door
  • Check glass (beige)
  • Vacuum/clean chairs and seat cushions
  • Check curtains for cleanliness
Kitchen
  • Wash and put away dishes
  • Empty fridge and freezer

  • Clean stove, oven and microwave
  • Clean appliances and store them
    Clean coffee machine, kettle, toaster and put in upper cupboard. Keep counter empty.

    Hang 2 on hooks, 2 inside the small cupboard.

Large Bathroom
  • Clean toilet thoroughly
    Inside and out.

  • Check rim block, replace if needed
  • Check toilet brush, replace if needed

  • Clean shower
    Glass, tiles, fittings.
  • Check drain
    Does water drain well? Clean if necessary.
  • Clean floor thoroughly
  • Check soap, refill if needed

    2 on hooks next to sink, 9 rolled in the box.

    4 on the stand and 6 in the bottom right drawer.

  • Check/Refill cotton pads and Q-tips

    1 roll on holder, 2 rolls next to towels in drawer.

Small Bathroom
  • Clean thoroughly like large bathroom
  • Check rim block, replace if needed
  • Check toilet brush, replace if needed
  • Check soap, refill if needed
  • Restock towels
    1 towel on hook, 2 towels on shelf.

Linens & Towels
  • Separate dirty laundry
  • Check for stains
    Report any issues.

At the End
  • Leave all curtains open
  • Leave all doors open
  • Turn off lights
  • Close windows
  • Check heating and set to 19 degrees
  • Use light room fragrance
  • Leave hallway lamp (downstairs) ON
    Must remain plugged in and turned on. Controlled via Smart Home as night light.
